Graduate Certificate in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention (22264VIC)
The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement is proud to announce that the Graduate Certificate in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention (22264VIC) will be offered as a blended mode of delivery in 2017.
The GCBCI is an eleven month, part time course which
will be delivered in Mulgrave, Victoria, Sydney New South Wales and
Brisbane, Queensland in 2017. Incorporating face to face clustered workshops, individual learning using the ACGB Learning Management System (Moodle) and Tutor guided forums.
The Graduate Certificate in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention (GCBCI) is a nationally recognised, VET qualification (equivalent to a Bachelor Honours Degree under the Australian Qualification Framework).
Offering evidence-based, clinical training, the GCBCI equips participants with the skills they need to better support people with complex bereavement needs and enables counsellors to specialise in bereavement counselling and intervention.
This eleven-month, part-time course will provide up-to-date and appropriate training and education in applied competencies and theoretical frameworks. Participants will find themselves fully engaged through tutorials, case studies, counselling practice sessions and other forms of experiential learning.
