Strategies for supporting bereaved and grieving adults - Traralgon

The diverse needs of adults will be considered, including the developmental needs of young, midlife and older adults. The impact of gender will also be considered. The workshop will allow participants to examine the developmental changes in adulthood and explore a range of support strategies that can be effective when supporting with adults who are grieving. At the conclusion of this workshop participants will be able to identify the developmental challenges of loss and grief for adults; discuss the individual needs of grieving adults; discuss the impact of bereavement upon adults and identify effective strategies when working with grieving adults.
