Remembrance Week 3rd - 7th December 2018
In memory of those you remember the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement (ACGB) invites you, your family and friends to participate in our annual Remembrance Week.
Candle Lighting Night
To commemorate, honour and remember the lives of those lost to us, the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement (ACGB) invites you, your family and friends, in a place of your choosing to collectively, with many others located around the state, light a candle at
8pm, Monday 3rd December.
Know wherever you are, there will be others around the state joining you in this act of remembrance.
“Many candles will be lit on this night. As the flames burn collectively we will share a moment to remember those we love”
The Remembrance Tree
The Remembrance Tree will be on display in the Centre’s entrance foyer at Mulgrave from Monday 3rd December. We invite you to write a message or dedication on the enclosed Memory Leaf for placement on the tree.
If you would like to participate, the ACGB can be reached on 1800 642 066 and we can mail you a memory leaf with a return envelope.
Once you have done this, you can either:
- Post your completed memory leaf to the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement, 253 Wellington Road, Mulgrave, VIC 3170 and we will place it on the tree for you;
- Contact us by phone on (03) 9265 2100 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will organise for your Memory Leaf to be written and placed on the tree; or
- Visit the Centre during the week and place your Memory Leaf on the tree.
