Webinar Overview
This webinar will chart the planning and development of a bereavement camp for families after the death of a child from a serious illness. It will chart the challenges and achievements along the way and provide participants with an overview of the bereavement camp experience.
This webinar is designed for those working in the area of grief and bereavement who are looking for a different way to support bereaved families.

Presenter Biography
Peter Hanlon is a registered mental health and general nurse working as a bereavement therapist in private practice. He is a fellow in thanatology with the Association of Death Education and Counselling (A.D.E.C). He also served as a member of Board of the Directors with A.D.E.C.
His work includes one to one and group support, training of volunteers and supervision of the support team with A Little lifeTime Foundation (A.L.L.F.) and Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (M.D.I). He speaks at conferences and workshops on grief and loss nationally and internationally. He served on project teams for Cancer Support Services in Ireland and Deliberate Self Harm - Effects on Staff (E.R.H.A). He has developed and facilitates the therapeutic recreation bereavement camp model at Barretstown.
He completed his Doctorate at University College Dublin.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement reserves the right to cancel education programs that do not achieve minimum participation, in which case all fees will be refunded.
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the centre. Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days prior to the event date will be refunded less 25% of the registration fee to cover administration costs.
No registration refunds will be made after this date. Please note: The full invoiced amount will still be payable in the event of non-attendance on the day.
