Vocational Graduate Certificate in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention
The only face-to-face vocational bereavement counselling training program in Australia
Applications are now open for the mid-2013 intake of the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement's Vocational Graduate Certificate in Bereavement Counselling and Intervention (VGCBCI).
The VGCBCI is a ten-month, part-time course designed to provide current and appropriate training and education in applied competencies and theoretical frameworks deemed essential for the provision of effective bereavement counselling and intervention.
Accredited under the Australian Quality Training Framework by the Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority, the VGCBCI is the only post-graduate program in Australia solely dedicated to the vocational training of bereavement counsellors.
Participants will find themselves fully engaged with the practice of bereavement counselling and intervention through tutorials, case studies, counselling practice sessions and other forms of experiential learning.
