He has recently represented Liberty Victoria in relation to the Tampa asylum seekers.

"The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement is delighted to offer the opportunity to hear a well known advocate talk about the loss experiences of marginalized people and refugees. The Annual Grief Lecture aims to provide a forum for educating the public about loss and grief issues, to stimulate discussion within the community and contribute to the development of a community sensitive to the needs of grieving people.

The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement is a Victorian state government funded organisation, established in 1996, to provide a range of education, consultancy, counselling and research services for those working in the area of grief and bereavement.
