The Road Trauma Support Team Victoria was established in 1994 after a group of concerned individuals with direct experience of road trauma joined with professionals working in the area of trauma and grief to provide a support service. Since then the organisation has grown, and now offers a range of services including professional counsellors to assist people affected by road trauma.

In a six-part series, from April 2 to April 9, 1995 The San Francisco Examiner explored the trials and triumphs of children facing the task of caring for an aging parent.
RD4U is a bereavement web site in the UK and is aimed at young people, mainly between 12 and 18 years old. There is a booklet titled after someone dies available on this site.
